DDM Office can be used for non-design staff to access design information and view CAD parts and drawings which are saved in PDF format. DDM Office is included with DDM Professional and provides the designer with the ability to not only manage and control his design data, but also all associated project documentation.
Providing full traceability, DDM Office tracks document and drawing change information. When up-issuing a document, DDM presents the user with an Engineering Change Note (ECN) screen to provide details of the reason for change. This information is then visible to all DDM users via the DDM Professional, Office or WEB Client ECN Data Sheet.
Office Document Management Create and manage all your Windows file types, including AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, Word, Excel, Tiff, PDF files, etc. Control and manage your document changes and relate these Documents to Drawings/Documents, drawn and non drawn parts and assemblies in the DesignDataManager database. ‘Drag & Drop’ all your legacy document data into DDM with simplistic ease. DDM Office’s Microsoft Outlook style user interface ensures that even the most novice users are productive from day one, ensuring companies see a rapid return on investment from the outset. DDM Office has full CAD integration into AutoCAD and OneSpace Designer Drafting (ME10).
