“C2V selected DDM, primarily to control our engineering drawings and documents created in IronCAD. However, DDM offers much more than just control over the CAD data, with built in functionality for document control and process workflow, DDM will help facilitate the company’s quality control through our current period of growth. Through the administration tool it is easy to configure and control who can authorise, release and make changes to objects in the database, and with full traceability, it is an ideal tool to help ensure compliance with quality standards. We were also after a tool that would help the design for production process and DDM’s flexibility allows us to transfer BOM information directly into our own ERP system”, says Maarten Donker of C2V. “Having one master record for our engineering data is important to us and we see DDM as the tool that will help us achieve this.”
