This weekend ex 2003 FIM Classic World Champion Glen English became the 2007 ACU UK Supermono Champion after only 7 rounds. With 2 more rounds still to race Glen English on board the designdatamanager.com sponsored Tigcraft Minmono became a Champion once again to the delight of his team mates and supporters. Although the race at Mallory was not as thrilling as previous rounds Glen road a tactical race finishing second behind Supermono Ace Alex Hutchinson and picked up the required points to make his mark on the series in only his second year of Supermono's. NEWBURY, Berkshire, UK, August 15th, 2007

Round 6 took place at Donington. We started the weekend 39 points ahead in the championship and with only two 8 minute practises and a 12 lap race we where well prepared and focussed on not losing our advantage. Glen qualified in pole position and got off to a great start along side European champion Mark Lawes, Mike Edwards and Nick Chadwick. The race was very exciting and well fought out with the lead changing every other lap. The race was finished a lap early after a racing incident when Mark Lawes and Glen English clashed. The race position at the end of the previous lap was help as the result so Glen picked up 25 points to extend his lead to 60 points. [Race Review].

NEWBURY, Berkshire, UK, June 18th, 2007

Round 4 & 5 took place at Pembrey. We started the weekend 19 points ahead in the championship. Saturday's race saw Glen English on board the DDM sponsored Tigcraft Minimono 450 achieve an outstanding win 0.10 seconds ahead of the 2006 European Champion Mark Lawes. On Sunday after a collision with a back marker Glen crashed the 426cc machine. The race was red flagged and Within a minute Glen was on board the 450cc machine to start from the pit lane on cold slicks once all of the grid had passed. Glen rode brilliantly to finish 4th, set the fastest lap of the race and extended his lead in the championship to 39 points. Unbelievable, well done Glen! [Race Review].

Halyard is a substantial and successful organisation producing a large number of exhaust systems and producing an even larger number of drawings, all of which have to be controlled, issued, archived and retrieved. The company employs nearly 90 staff and had a turnover in 2006 of almost £5 million. Round 2 and 3 of the 2007 UK Supermono Championship took place at Snetterton. The Team new it would be a difficult weekend so just wanted to play it safe and pick up as many points as possible this being the toughest weekend in the championship for the lower powered Minimono's based on a circuit that favours the larger more powerful Supermono machines and the weekend was also combined with the UK round of the European series. With 43 other machines to compete with the DesignDataManager sponsored Scorpion-DART Racing Team where delighted to finish second in Sunday's round 2 race and an incredible 1st in Monday's round 3 race. This leaves the team leading the Championship with a good points buffer as they now prepare for the next rounds at Pembrey. [Race Review].

This weekend saw the start of the 2007 UK Supermono Championship. Following last years 3rd position in the overall championship, a new team Scorpion Racing has been formed. Sponsored by DesignDataManager the new team along with former Classic World Champion Glen English in the saddle are delighted with the first round win at Brands Hatch. Both team bikes are Tigcraft Minimono's with single cylinder Yamaha 450 and 426 engines. The race win was achieved on the smaller 426cc machine, even more pleasing as this was the first Tigcraft (Blueprint) Minimono ever produced. [Race Review].
