NEWBURY, Berkshire, UK, November, 2007 – Concurrent Systems Inc Ltd (CSI), a leading developer of multi-CAD design data and document

management solutions, announces today that Integra NeuroSciences Limited, a subsidiary of Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation (Nasdaq: IART), has expanded its DesignDataManager (DDM) facility by implementing DDM RIFS (Remote Intelligent File Servers).
Nick Lockett, Integra Operations Engineer says, “We have been using DDM at Integra Neurosciences since the late 1990’s, but its use has been predominantly limited to storage and control of CAD data within our engineering department. As part of the transfer of our CUSA product line, from the USA to the UK and Ireland, we have captured the product documentation within DDM so that users at both facilities can access current information at the same time.
Due to some network connection issues, our Ireland facility was having difficulty in uploading large files on demand so we consulted CSI for a solution. CSI suggested the installation of the DDM RIFS product so that files can be accessed directly from local file servers at both the UK and Ireland facilities, thereby reducing the need for lengthy file transfers when opening documents. As the file server vault has been configured to replicate any changes overnight, this reduces the burden on an already busy network during working hours.”
CSI Managing Director Joe McBurnie added
“Integra is a long standing customer and it’s great to see them building on their DDM implementation. With the rapid pace of globalisation, outsourcing, off-shoring, acquisitions & mergers are common place so more and more of our customers are looking for multi-site and web based solutions.”
