CSI is proud to announce that Oceanair Marine, world leader in the design and manufacture of marine blinds, shades and soft furnishings, has chosen to implement DDM for its CAD system SOLIDWORKS to address its short and long term requirement for Product Lifecycle Management.

Oceanair Marine, based in West Sussex, design and manufacture original engineered blinds & soft furnishings for the leisure marine, superyacht, luxury residential, commercial and recreational vehicle markets.

At the fore-front of technology and innovation when it comes to the design and manufacture of blinds, Oceanair has made significant investments in new equipment for the manufacture of blinds, as well as nurturing a progressive design office, which continually drives product development. Oceanair invest in innovation because of the demanding nature of their customer base; the Marine, Superyacht and Residential markets typically have complex, unique design needs and a requirement for bespoke and customised products. Therefore, Oceanair’s need for first-class Product Lifecycle Management is paramount.

Oceanair is a fast-growing company, having recently been recognised as one of the UK Central South region’s 20 mid-market ‘Companies Of Tomorrow’ and “National Champions” in the 2017 European Business Awards. Most recently, in February 2017, Oceanair was acquired by global mobile living company Dometic, showing it’s prowess within the industry as a revered brand & business.
